U20 Women counting down to CONCACAF qualification

The dream of playing for Canada in a world cup is still alive for 2 young Atlantic Canada athletes. Nkem Ezurike (University of Michigan and NS ) and Dayle Colpits (Virginia Tech University - and NB) have been invited to the U20 WNT preparation camps for the upcoming 2012 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in Ciudad Panama, Panama.

Both girls have shown great maturity and desire to learn as they try and equip themselves for International soccer and competing to win. Nkem was Canada’s leading goal-scorer at 2008 U17 Women’s World Cup in New Zealand as an underage player. She returns to the National program after 2 great seasons in the NCAA division 1. Dayle has had a different experience with the National Program. She was part of the last U20 CONCACAF campaign and has had senior WNT camp and tournament experience.  Both are delighted with this opportunity. The NTC-Atlantic and its staff wish these players and team Canada all the best for the upcoming tournament.
