The Program
Under the Direction of Soccer Nova Scotia’s Technical Department, Regional Training Centers have been established in seven centers across the province. The aim of these programs is to develop both players and coaches at the regional level. The Regional Training Center Program also provides consistent development for selected U10 & U12 players, with an aim of transferring its beneficial effects to clubs, districts and provincial teams. The program also aids in the identification and selection process of players for the 2011/2012 Under 13 Soccer Nova Scotia Provincial Team.

U12 BOYS & GIRLS BORN IN 2000 & 2001
Duration of Program
Selections take place on the following date:
October 1st @ East Hants Sportsplex
U-12 Boys 9-10:30am & 4-5:30pm
U-12 Girls 10:30-12pm & 5:30-7pm
There is a $10 Tryout fee.
Players must arrive 20 minutes prior to the first session. ALL PLAYERS WILL TO FILL OUT AN INFORMATION SHEET. Registration forms will be available once players are selected to the program.
Training will occur at the following times beginning November 1st and ending March 29th.

RTC program fees are all inclusive. There are no additional fees. Payment plans are available.

Curriculum
The content of the program has been developed by Soccer Nova Scotia’s Technical Department to assist in the development of the player. The sessions will include the following three key elements
- Repetition to develop technique on demand
- Understanding of basic tactics
- Positional roles and responsibilities in small sided games.
Training and Games
The RTC program will train once per week for 20 weeks over the course of the winter season. These sessions will take place during the evenings and will be run out of the new East Hants Indoor Facility in our region.
The RTC program is led by the Regional Technical Director with each group being assigned qualified assistant coaches and trainers.
