Soccer NS AGM Held

held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, May 24^th in Halifax. At the meeting, the following people were voted in to positions on the Board of Directors: Ken MacLean returns as President, Blair McMullin assumes the role of Treasurer, and Marie March returns in the position of Director of Competitions. The position of Vice President was left vacant and will be filled by the board in the coming days.

Three awards were also presented. Dean Smith, of Cole Harbour and Rob Naylor, of Halifax County, received Meritorious Service Awards for their long standing dedication to soccer at their club and district levels. The Dr. Irene Szuler Award was also presented for the first time, to deserving recipient, Nkem Ezurike.
