ITSNS Getting Started Useful Links  FAQs Need more Help?

Welcome to the support area for users of the ITSNS system, Soccer Nova Scotia's implementation of ITSportsNet Enterprise Edition application.
This page is meant to provide help, assistance, useful links to all the volunteers and administrators throughout the province who will rely on ITSNS for player  and team registration, referee management, league management, ann in some cases web site management.

Getting Started
The first step for anyone who is new to the system is to get an access account set up and to set up your PC for running the ITSNS applications
Contact Soccer NS to get a new account. Note that all account users are required to adhere to strict policies regarding information access, distribution and security.
You will need to provide SNS with a valid email address, contact information and some type of authorization from the club that the account will be given access to.
Once an account has been established, yoiu will be able to log in to the IT Sports Net admin section and downaod required applications. Go to
www.istspornet.com/admin and when the login window appears, enter the username and password given to you by Soccer NS.
The admin section has a set of 'buttons' across the the top that let you access the various components of the system. Your first step should be to click on the IT Registrar button and then click on the 'Java - get it Now' icon that appears under the main set of buttons. This will walk you through a typical windows application download and install (first step: save the file to your computer, second step: opne the downloaded file to install the Jave runtime). Note that any 'warnings' about saving files or installing this application can safely be ignored.
The second task is now download the IT Registrar application. Return to the IT Sportsnet admin section, click on IT Registrar button, then click on the 'Launch IT Registrar' icon. This will download the java application, install an icon on your desktop to launch the application in the future, and start the application. It may also require you to log in again using your username and password.
If you plan to schedule games/run a league, you should also click on the IT League Manager button and do the same steps as above to install that application.
You are now ready to run either of the programs from your desktop or from this website location.
Note that anytime the application is updated, you will see a 'downloading...' window appear when you first log in. These files are about 3MB, so depending on your Internet connection speed, this may take some time.
