Soccer Nova Scotia Celebrates 100 Years of Soccer2013 marks the 100th year of organized soccer in Nova Scotia. In 1913 the Nova Scotia Football Association, as it was called then, was officially formed with headquarters in the Y.M.C.A. building on Barrington Street. 100 years later Soccer Nova Scotia, as it is now called, is the leading sport governing body in the province.
